Pebeo UK has appointed Angela Mabey to the new role of retail business manager. Mabey has been with Pebeo for eight years in various customer support positions.
Commenting on the new post, John Wright, Pebeo UK’s MD said: “It is important that we underline the vital role retailers play in our sales chain. As the craft market develops and new buying channels appear, retailers can sometimes feel undervalued. With this in mind we have created the post of retail business manager. Mabey is the ideal candidate for the position as she has excellent communication skills, a friendly rapport with customers and an encyclopaedic knowledge of the Pebeo product range.”
Pebeo adds that it is gearing up for a busy 2008 with several major product launches in the pipeline, plus repackaging of its Arty’s range. To support the product launches and business generally, the company has also announced the phasing in of a new communications network that is intended to make ordering simpler and more customer focussed.
