ICHF, the organiser of Craft, Hobby & Stitch International, has released its review of the show. The organiser reports that attendance this year 7,969 (8,424) did show a slight drop and the byword across the show, from the majority of exhibitors, was ‘quality’.
ICHF went on to say that: ‘The buyers were of a good quality, they were placing quality orders and in many cases better orders than the previous year. Many exhibitors have told us that they had a strong show and, in a number cases, their best show ever. It is important to bear these comments in mind when we hear the press and other media agencies quoting doom and gloom every other day! While we cannot ignore the current difficulties in the economic climate, we must all be positive. The business is out there, you just have to be focused and go and get it!’
